No account. No server. No analytics. JKST Note has nowhere to send your notes, because it never asks you to sign in to anything and never makes a network request. Everything you capture lives on your iPhone.
What it does
- Capture in seconds Tap ＋, pick a type, type, save. No folders to choose, no note to name, no screen to navigate afterwards — the loop is capture‑and‑done.
- Notes with a shape A note is a small typed card: an idea, a todo, an expense, a link, a person you just met, an account you just registered. Seven types to start with, and you can invent your own on the phone — add a field, pick its kind, mark it required, optional, or secret.
- Secrets that stay secret Mark a field secret and its value is encrypted on your iPhone, shown as dots, and left out of search. Revealing or copying it takes a fresh Face ID check every single time, the value re‑hides after ten seconds, and the clipboard clears itself.
- Locked, and covered The whole app sits behind Face ID, and the app switcher shows a cover instead of your notes.
- Find it later One reverse‑chronological stream, filter chips per type, and full‑text search across everything — except your secret values, which are never indexed.
Where your notes are
On your iPhone, in the app’s own storage. Secret field values are encrypted there with a key that stays in your device’s Keychain. You can write yourself down a six‑word recovery code so a lost phone does not mean lost secrets, and you can export everything to files whenever you want.

JKST Note is in private beta on its author’s own phone. Version 1.0 is on its way to the App Store.
